About: CUWRFC is a Columbia University club sports team that participates in Division II of the New York Metropolitan Rugby League.  We compete with other collegiate teams in our division in the Fall, and also compete in tournaments in the Spring, including the Ivy League Tournament.  Our team welcomes students from all of Columbia University’s undergraduate colleges – Columbia College, Barnard, SEAS, and General Studies – and women of all levels athletic and sports experience.

Join Us!
Joining CUWRFC is easy – there are no try outs or criteria except for being a student at CU.  All you have to do is show up to one of our practice sessions.  Fall 2009 practice times are to be announced, but practices meet at the Columbia sundial to take the subway to Baker’s Field on 218th Street and Broadway. Practices are Mondays and Wednesdays, 8:30-10:30PM.  If you’re interested, contact one of our officers here, check out our Facebook group, or come to practice!  All you need are sneakers or cleats, water, and a metrocard.
